To use the power puller effectively, follow these steps:
- Disengage the main ratchet drive by pulling the drive pawl spring on the lever handle to the "up" position.
- Attach the load hook to the item you will be pulling. If you have two load hooks, connect them together to form a loop.
- Release the cable by squeezing the stop pawl trigger, allowing the cable to run freely. Walk the cable puller back to the anchor point.
- Once at the anchor point, release the stop pawl trigger and ensure it is fully engaged back into the ratchet sprocket.
- Attach the anchor hook to the point from which you will be pulling.
This power puller is available in 2-ton, 4-ton, and 5-ton capacities, with cable lengths ranging from 10 to 13 feet and chain compatibility of 3/16" to 1/4". All models feature the same hardened all-steel construction with a corrosion-resistant galvanized finish, ensuring long-lasting performance.
